Michael Coburn KC was the head of the pupillage committee at Twenty Essex for eight years. Collecting the material needed for tenancy decisions used to be a tedious process. A supervisor suggested that an online system would be far more efficient. It immediately seemed the obvious solution. Michael was then responsible for the development of the Pupillage Online system, ensuring that it responds to the real-life needs of a set of chambers. Michael is himself a keen coder, and his time at the Bar included a sabbatical devoted to web development.
